Artist Statement

What I decided to edge was a bowl of Fruity Pebbles. I decided to pick that zine/subject because I was hungry at the time we were starting this project and wanted to do food because that's something I'm always talking about or wanting. The process of doing all 5 of these took some work but to me I thought it was worth it. How we started this was Mrs. Arter gave us a some type of plastic and wed put the plastic on top of the picture and trace it. After you were done tracing it you cover the whole plastic with ink. After putting all the ink on it youd wipe it off with a towel and put it on a wet paper. Last part of the edging is putting it through the machine so your print comes onto your paper.Out of all the 5 edges you did you would pick the one you liked the best and paint it with watercolors. I really liked how mine turned out with the watercolor paint because it looks just like an actual Fruity Pebbles.
